ALEX BUGG // story 1

Alex Bugg is an artist and animator from Corsicana, Texas. She is a graduate from The University of Texas with a BS in Radio-Television-Film.

Her passion is telling interesting stories through art, and although this is her first time making a cartoon about sex, she’s pretty sure it won’t be her last.



Cris is a visual artist and educator working with static and motion imagery. Among his varied creative experiences he has worked for the White House, Techstars, and metaLAB (at) Harvard, an experimental media-making research and teaching unit. He is currently a film and media production MFA-candidate at The University of Texas at Austin. 



Sebastián is a filmmaker, animator and visual artist from Rancagua, Chile. His work has been a constant exploration of fantastical and surreal elements within real-life situations. His undergraduate thesis film "Cazuela", a mixture between stop-motion animation and live-action narrative, has been in many film festivals all around the world. Sebastián has also worked as an independent videographer, animator and motion graphics artist since 2008. Among these projects are two video installations for the Chilean architects Smiljan Radic and Alejandro Aravena, both showed during the Venice Biennale in 2010 and 2012 respectively. On 2012, Sebastián was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship, and later in 2013, he was awarded with a Chilean Government’s Scholarship to pursue his MFA in Film & Media Production at The University of Texas at Austin. After graduating from the MFA program Sebastián worked as an Animator and Producer of the Short Animated Essay Film "Tightly Wound", written and directed by Shelby Hadden, film that its production process has been featured in Bust Magazine, Cosmopolitan, The Austin Chronicle and IndieWire, among different media outlets and platforms.

AARON CHAVEZ // opening & introductions

Aaron Chavez is currently a Radio, TV, & Film student at the University of Texas at Austin pursuing work involving stop-motion and 2-D animation, editing, and videography. “I love the creative process of transforming an idea into a reality, and I’m always looking for new projects to work on.”
